Due to the snow days and weather, the 5th-grade Field trips to Van Andel Science Center, originally scheduled for December 5th and 6th, were rescheduled to Monday, December 9th (Janecko, E. Redwood Elementary’s WAVE Council is kicking off our annual Care Deer Food Drive. All donations will be given to the Hartford Lions’ Club, to aid in their Christmas Basket Program. The food drive will run from Tuesday, December 3rd through Wednesday, December 19.

Third grade students have been reading about how our government was established, the responsibilities of each branch of government, and the impact each voice can make. While learning about opinion writing, Jase Walker, a student in Mrs. Parker's class, decided to write about his opinion on a topic of his interest to our state representative. He addressed an envelope and mailed it out! Great work, Jase!
