Reminder: Tomorrow, Wednesday November 12th, is a scheduled HALF DAY for Hartford Public Schools. HS/MS/Alt. Education will be dismissed at 11:15am and Redwood Elementary will be dismissed at 11:30am .

10/30/2025 Dear Parents, Guardians, and Community Members, At Hartford Public Schools, the safety and well-being of our students is our top priority. We are committed to providing a secure learning environment, and part of that commitment includes preparing for emergency situations in a proactive and effective manner. This morning we conducted a school-wide lockdown drill. These drills are required and mandated by the state of Michigan. In order to preserve the safety of our students and faculty, these drills are not posted ahead of time. We understand that drills may cause temporary concern or disruption, but they are a critical component of our emergency preparedness plan. Please be assured that all appropriate safety measures were in place and that the drill was conducted in a structured and sensitive manner. Thank you for your continued support in helping us maintain a safe and secure environment for all students and staff. 30/10/2025 Estimados padres, tutores y miembros de la comunidad: En las Escuelas Públicas de Hartford, la seguridad y el bienestar de nuestros estudiantes son nuestra máxima prioridad. Nos comprometemos a brindar un entorno de aprendizaje seguro, y parte de ese compromiso incluye prepararnos para situaciones de emergencia de manera proactiva y eficaz. This morning we conducted a school-wide evacuation drill. This drill was a planned and supervised practice that allowed our students and staff to be familiar with emergency evacuation procedures and know how to respond calmly and safely in the event of a real emergency. We understand that drills may cause temporary concern or disruption, but they are a critical component of our emergency preparedness plan. Please be assured that all appropriate safety measures were in place and that the drill was conducted in a structured and sensitive manner. Thank you for your continued support in helping us maintain a safe and secure environment for all students and staff.
